New Headshots

Got some new headshots while out here in LA.  Check 'em out!

They're by Rick Stockwell who is actually based out of NYC. 

I've also read two books since I came to LA: Leaving Dirty Jersey by James Salant and Wasted by Marya Hornbacher.  And last night I started Homesick by Jenny Lauren.

I am a little homesick, I must admit.  I miss a lot of people in NYC/NJ.  And its hard to have fun out here without a car.  Although yesterday I did make it to the Hollywood Farmers Market, and managed to narrowly miss a sighting of Adrian Grenier.  On Thursday, OperaWorks is taking us to some shop on Ventura Blvd  where this guy who is a personal stylist is going to assess us and help us find some good outfits for auditions and other singer-ly things.  And I'm hoping to figure out a way to get into one of the preview performances of Eric Whitacre's new opera, Paradise Lost.  May as well, while I'm out here, right?

Claudia would totally dress you up if you asked her. She used to do that for a living. Didn't she tell you about that? She used to work at all these high-end mens clothing stores, and guys would come in and be like, "I have a business trip and I need five days worth of hot sharp professional clothes" and she'd pick out their outfits. And she wouldn't charge you anything since you're her son and all.
