For their MM in vocal performance and pedagogy.  Yeah, Johns Hopkins, Baltimore, holy crap I can't believe it.

Now how the hell am I supposed to decide?  I love nyc, but this is way too good to pass up...

Baltimore is about a four hour drive from nyc. Faster on a train too. My home in NJ is a 45 minute drive from nyc, so its definately a little farther from home.

Thanks! Nah, I'm not that good. I think I just watched a lot of really talented people get rejected from lots of places, and I learned how to successfully navigate the whole grad school process from that.

Yeah, I am thinking the same thing. I mean, its PeABODY, who can say no to that? Plus their program is really cool. I got accepted into the performance and pedagogy program, so I'll get all kinds of academic stuff and some music ed training as well as a performance degree. Everything I want in one palce!

Yeah, my mom and I were mentioning that teacher last night, and my mom says I should write a letter to her telling her how grateful I was for having her guidance over the summer, and throwing in that I got into some rockin' grad programs even after she said I didn't even have a morcel of a chance of getting into even the crappiest program.

I have to send another one of those letters to my teacher from Westminster too (my undergrad). Wow, I can't believe how much I've wanted to send those letters, and NOW I CAN!!!

HOLY CRAP that is SO AWESOME!!! Peabody is like on of the BEST music schools in the country.....oh my god Pamina, just research them all and make sure you are getting the attention you deserve, no more teachers ignoreing your talent because they have bigger fish to fry, especially when the fish is someone as beautiful and as talented as YOU!!

I really wanted to go there when I graduated high school...Maryland is awesome!

That is some really great news. Good for you!!!! Just make a list of all the pros and cons of each school and then really search your heart for what you want to pursue. You wan to be able to look back and say that you gave it your best shot.

Yeah, me too. I've been trying to get ahold of this prof at NYU to get some info on some classes she wants me to sit in on. She told me the days of week and times, but not the places, haha.

And Peabody has a weekend where they invite down accepted students, so I will be going to that for sure. And I need to check out this voice teacher they assigned to me...
