Peabody gave me a $500 Career Development Grant to attend OperaWorks! Very nice! I'm sooooo close to being finished with my Master's degree, its unreal.
I'm doing lots of career-stuff right now, calling and emailing and sending out info. Oh and I have another performance coming up on May 9th. Its part of a fundraiser recital for the Peabody chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon's 80th birthday. I'm organizing the recital and performing in it. Should be fun times.
Oh, and the fan on my computer broke, so my laptop was overheating and shutting down every five minutes. To solve the problem, I came up with something brilliant: I've been sitting my laptop on top of a bag of frozen organic peas. And its working. I'm a genius. :)
