Poor Zizou...

Oh my friends, you have not truly seen chaos, anarchy and all out street-riot madness until you have experienced what I experienced last night.  Italy won the World Cup, and I was in the Piazza del Popolo when it went down.  There was mass insanity for miles and miles.  People were setting off fireworks and firecrackers, throwing bottles of champagne and beer, screaming, dancing, singing, hanging off the back of motorbikes and out the windows of cars, waving flags, flipping out, jumping in the fountains (yes, I jumped in the fountain in the middle of the Piazza with all my clothes on)... All the public transportation shut down and it took us almost two hours to walk back to our hotel but it was SO worth it.

Rehearsals for Suor Angelica are going well.  I can't believe how the time flies here.  I have something like 7 hours of staging tomorrow.  Okay, time to get back to life in ROMA!!!! Ciao friends!
