Mark is back, but he is still working very hard, and he leaves again for Moscow on the 9th or 10th of December, so I only have a little while to enjoy his company before he goes away again. I love staying in NYC though. I love our apartment. I am there right now. We have dial-up internet for now, and in a few days we'll have DSL. Nice.

I've been feeling really up and down lately about what I'm doing with my life. I've been having these ideas about doing research with mathematics and music, and I think I might just start researching now. Or maybe I'll wait until my grad school applications are in... I've been reading "Zero: A Biography of a Dangerous Idea," and I'm really enjoying it. In fact, I'm almost finished. Next up I'm going to start in on one of Mark's books, Naive Set Theory, meanwhile hopefully enjoying some good old Gunter Grass.

Okay guys, what should I do with my life? You tell me. Open ended. You've all had a chance to get to know me a little bit through LJ...tell me what you think I should do. Should I go for the performance thing? If so, should I stick with opera? Why don't I forget about opera and do the rock jazz thing I've been secretly dreaming about for years? Or why not follow in my great grandmother's footsteps and do composition? Or how about this whole music/mathematics/physics thing? Or maybe just astro physics? Theoretical Astro Physics? Or I could just follow the lead of the rest of my family and go to Yale Medical School, but I will probably need to do my undergrad over...So please, people, I need INPUT!!!

haha but don't take me too seriously. I'm a nut. :)
